HOLLAND, Mich., March 15, 2010 – Worksighted, a leading west Michigan-based IT management firm, today announced the acquisition of the Professional Services Division of ISG, one of the largest IT firms in West Michigan with headquarters in Holland.
The combination expands Worksighted’s customer-base throughout western Michigan including Holland, Grand Rapids, Grand Haven and Muskegon and forms one of the largest IT management firms on the Lakeshore.

“ISG was a good fit for Worksighted because we offer parallel services, and our teams focus on similar competencies,” said Mat Nguyen, president of Worksighted. “By combining the talents of ISG and Worksighted, we are building a stronger IT team that will be a leader in providing value driven IT services delivered with the unmatched service that Worksighted customers have grown accustomed to. Our combined team will offer consulting, design and implementation, as well as systems support and maintenance all in a simple and friendly manner.”

The acquisition of ISG adds additional breadth to existing technical competencies in Cisco networking allowing Worksighted to target a broader customer-base and offer an enhanced suite of services to existing customers. Similarly, former ISG customers will have access to a stronger set of Microsoft and VMware expertise along with a number of new services to improve network management and support including remote backups and network monitoring.

“When we made the decision to sharpen our focus and concentrate on our development and data center services at ISG we sought out Worksighted,” said Dan Horne, president of ISG. “We felt they had the most to offer our professional services clients in terms of talent, capability and a service-oriented culture.”

Nguyen added: “This transition has been a great experience for both companies. Our team is extremely passionate about technology service and customers have responded well to the changes and the new opportunities it will bring.”

The acquisition of ISG’s Professional Services Division is the second acquisition for Worksighted in the last 6 months. In the Fall of 2009, Worksighted acquired IT for Doctors and formed a partnership with Better EHR in order to increase focus on the Healthcare industry.
